The workshop starts with exercises for body awareness and modern dance technique. After that they’ll work with improvisation exercises as well as exercises that are based on qualities of CHRONOS’ earlier piece ‘MoreLess’. Three of CHRONOS’ dancers will present this same work in the DansBlok program on June 30 and July 1. The workshop will be taught by Vera Goetzee and Sarah Soethoudt.

CHRONOS | Dance · Performance is een danscollectief, bestaande uit vijf danskunstenaars, gevestigd in Amsterdam. Hun werk is fysiek, poëtisch en theatraal en ze werken met onderwerpen die van maatschappelijk belang zijn en waar iedereen zich aan kan relateren. Zoals de titel van het collectief al aangeeft, is ‘tijd’ een terugkerend en belangrijk fundament voor hun dansstukken. Het werk is beeldend maar geeft ook veel ruimte voor eigen invulling, kritiek en reflectie.
