Practicing yoga before bedtime is a great way to release everything you’re holding onto mentally or physically before sinking into a peaceful night of deep sleep. Incorporating a relaxing yoga practice into your nighttime routine will not only improve the quality, but also the duration of your sleep.
When we watch netflix, or check our phone just before doing to bed, the body is still very much handeling stressors (good and bad). What we advise you to do during this challenge is to handle all affairs, even the setting of your alarm clock before checking in with us via livestream or starting the playback clip. So that during this time we spend practicing yoga and deliberate relaxation, our parasympathetic nervous system – the system that helps your body rest and digest.
This will aid you in creating a healthy sleep rhythm, to destress and to ultimately have more energy throughout the day.
