TRIBES & THE KITCHEN

This week will be a collaboration between Tribes and Dance Company The Kitchen. You will be expanding your own dance practice through working with different guest choreographers/makers, who will share their unique approach to dance and theatre dance with you. You will deepen your somatic, ballet and modern techniques through morning classes. And together with Willemieke Verweij & Jamie de Groot you will work on new repertoire daily, which we will shoot/perform in the Deep.

Theme: Beneath the Surface
In this hectic and difficult time we’ve had to face ourselves more than ever. When facing the uncertainty of not knowing what lies ahead, where do we find our anchor? Can we use the concept of grounding to effortlessly stay beneath the surface. Do we dare to let go of the need to control and open up to to ourselves and each other in the deep. Pure, raw and uneditted. You, me and us unlocking the pathway to inner joy and freedom.
