Michelle has always had a passion for dance. She started with ballet and developed herself as an allround dancer. Besides dancing, yoga has a big role in her life too. She is a 200 hours registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance and trained in India in teaching Hatha (Flow), Ashtanga Primary series and Vinyasa Flow. Even in her studies Social psychology (MSc) in Cultural Sociology (MA) she developed herself on the area of kinaesthetica, i.e. the aesthetics of movement. And with her love for teaching, she have taught Arts and Culture students at the Erasmus University and is now teaching first year Psychology students at Leiden University. But above all, her biggest passion is teaching dance and yoga.

Michelle believes dance and yoga are for everyone to enjoy, and to learn. As a dancer and yogi her yoga classes are creative and flowy, balancing technique with ‘just moving because it feels right’. She hopes her dancers and yogi will find enjoyment, a way to unwind themselves, empower themselves and amaze themselves.
In the Deep Stretching and Gentle Flow classes soft relaxing music will be played in the background. In the YINBallet and Yoga Barre classes, most exercises will be set on music, though during the stretching and Yin soft relaxing background music will be used again.
