Theme: Flow with letting go
Allow yourself to contemplate and enjoy change
The seasonal transition from summer to autumn is a natural expression of change. The sun is still the same, but it feels less warm. The day is still followed by the night, but the days are getting shorter. When we experience change we have the opportunity to find our roots and ground ourselves to respond better towards changes happening outside of ourselves. The trees, these living creatures totally connected to earth, noticed the change and show the arrival of autumn by changing the colouring of their leaves. Even when the colour changes, it remains a tree, with confidence and grace they let go of their old leaves, exposing bare branches and trunk, then you can see better the tree, even though looks different. Changes can make you feel different and challenge how you move in the world, but remembering and experiencing your roots, the resources that makes you feel grounded in moments of transitions will give you the opportunity to thrive and contemplate changes with curiosity and understanding.
To develop lasting happiness and wisdom, it is essential to recognise and accept the impermanence of things.
The trees that release their leaves in the fall are a wonderful reminder of how to let go with confidence and joy. Things in our lives are changing and transforming: your home, your money, your work, your partner, your family, and yourself too. They are all like a leaf hanging from the branch of a tree. It helps us to learn to live in harmony with the cycles of nature and enjoy their beauty and different phases. How can we let go confidently? How can we ground ourselves and flow while letting go of the expressions that does not give us energy and joy?
Our BLOOM mini retreat of October will focus on these theme’s throughout the day. What to expect?
