The course is open to everybody who is interested in Afro Modern dance. A little experience in dance is necessary.
Content
Afro Flow is a dynamic fusion between Modern/Jazz technique and African movements and rhythm.
During the warming-up you will learn the basics of African Dance as well as various Modern/Jazz techniques. Followed by challenging technical and strengthening exercises that will boost your body-awareness and stamina. In the 12 classes we will work towards an inspiring Afro Flow choreography, which will be presented on the 24th of May in Theatre Ins Blau.
